Men’s HOKA Mafate X Trail Running Shoes

Features

Calling all trail racing fiends, gravel grinders and 100-milers. There’s a new trail titan in town.

Built for long-haul efforts, the Mafate X delivers supreme plushness with a dual-density, premium foam chassis, PEBA top layer and a pop of propulsion thanks to a forked carbon fiber plate. HOKA implemented an ultralight woven upper that allows for easy drainage and Vibram® Megagrip outsole with pod-like cutouts to ensure a smooth ride over variable terrain.

Details:

• Upper: The thoughtfully designed woven textile upper with patent-pending dynamic vamp adapts to your foot shape while letting water escape after stream crossings. The gusseted tongue keeps debris out, while the protective toe cap and molded TPU heel counter keep you secure when the trail gets rough.
• Midsole: HOKA smooth MetaRocker™ works with the rearfoot-focused Active Foot Frame™ to guide your stride naturally. The carbon fiber plate delivers energy that helps you power through fatigue, while the PEBA core and super critically foamed EVA carrier provide cushioning that stays comfortable for miles upon miles.
• Outsole: Trust your footing thanks to the Vibram® Megagrip compound with 3.5 mm lugs and zonal rubber placement that balances grip, durability and weight.
