This shoe bridges two worlds — giving you the lightweight, cushioned feel you love from running shoes with the rugged protection you need on the trails. Built for hikers who don’t want to choose between comfort and durability, the Mafate X Hike combines serious cushioning with thoughtful features that help you stay safe and comfortable on long adventures.

Details:

• Upper: The haptic material construction includes a neoprene mid collar that provides lightweight ankle support and protection without adding bulk. Adjustable speed hooks let you dial in the perfect fit as conditions change, while areas of zonal durability reinforce high-wear spots so these shoes can handle whatever the trail throws at them.
• Midsole: The dual-density foam chassis features a PEBA core with super-critically foamed EVA cushioning that delivers supreme plushness for long-haul efforts. The forked carbon fiber plate adds a pop of propulsion that keeps you moving efficiently while maintaining that hyper cushy ride you need for all-day comfort.
• Outsole: Vibram Megagrip rubber provides reliable traction and grip on varied terrain, from wet rocks to loose dirt. This outsole is designed to keep you confident and secure when the trail gets challenging and footing becomes critical.
